As of January 13, 2025 the Washington State Patrol will start charging requestors $1.04 per minute of redaction time for all Body Worn Camera Footage when applicable.  Please see the FAQ section for more information. 

 

Please note that requests for BWC footage has continued to increase, with the current staffing collecting and redacting video we have a significant backlog of requests. While we will process your request as quickly as possible, it may take approximately eight months to complete the request for BWC footage.

 

Effective May 1, 2025, if you are requesting videos, the link WSP provides will take you to a different browser/window called Evidence.com. You will be able to download the videos from there.
